Maria Cristina Sterling jewels are handmade, in Tuscany, and made of 925 Sterling Silver, white, burnished, black, rosé and gold-plated. They are all unique creations, each different from the other precisely because they are made entirely by hand.
The photos in the shop are for representative purposes, the colors and shapes may be subject to small discrepancies attributable to manual processing, to the peculiar properties of natural stones, but also to the monitors on which they are displayed.
WHITE 925 STERLING SILVER
925 Silver is a precious metal with extraordinary shine; at the same time, it is naturally subject to oxidation, a natural reaction that occurs when silver comes into contact with air. Polishing 925 sterling silver regularly with a soft cloth prevents the accumulation of oxidation layers and keeps the shine of the Silver intact. Polishing does not remove scratches. The white 925 Sterling Silver jewels are treated with rhodium, to preserve the whiteness and shine of the Silver for longer and to give even greater resistance to oxidation.
Maria Cristina Sterling jewels are made to last over time and to keep their quality intact, simply follow a few simple tips. A good basic rule is to make jewelry the last thing you put on in the morning and the first thing you take off at night; then exposing the jewel to contact with make-up, creams, hairspray, perfumes and household chemicals can accelerate the oxidation process, in addition to exposing the jewel to water, humidity and heat.
BURNISHED 925 STERLING SILVER
The surface of the burnished jewels has been subjected to a special treatment; oxidation disappears over time, the speed of this process depends on how the jewelry is treated. Sweating, chlorine, perfumes, cleaning agents and solvents for polishing silver are some of the factors that lead to the deterioration of the burnishing, the loss of intensity of which over time is however to be considered a normal condition and not a defect.
BLACK 925 STERLING SILVER
The black 925 sterling silver jewels have had a special treatment that maintains the color over time, specifically rhodium which is a very resistant metal, is combined with ruthenium, used in the black color, to guarantee the color over time, if the jewel is treated correctly. Together they give a dark anthracite finish, and provide adequate protection to the Silver, thanks to their high corrosion resistance characteristics.
925 STERLING SILVER ROSES
The rosé jewelry is made of 925 sterling silver, thickly plated in 18k rose gold; any defects in the products are covered by the standard guarantee, however, please note that the disappearance of the plating over time must be considered a natural process caused by normal use of the jewellery, not a defect.

STONES
The stones used are natural and/or reinforced semi-precious stones, cultured pearls and natural and/or colored crystals. Any small variations in color and size are evidence of the high level of craftsmanship required in the creation of stone, pearl and crystal jewellery.

PRICES AND CURRENCY
The prices published on the site, payments, and order invoices are in Euros.

SHIPPING METHODS

For security reasons, the Products purchased on the Site will be delivered to the address registered on the credit card, unless otherwise indicated by the Customer and at the time of delivery the signature of the Customer or of a delegated adult over the age of 18 will be required. They will not be deliver to post office boxes. ORDER FULFILLMENT

RETURNS POLICY
